Our world requires that we take the time to reuse our resources in a responsible way. Due to the incredible quantity of used tires discarded annually, it is up to our imaginations to find new uses for crumb rubber and powder. Tires, as a product, are compounded to withstand incredible forces: heat, wear, friction, tearing, ultra-violet sunlight energy, ozone, and temperature variations. Utilizing tire rubber in new products and processes takes advantage of some, or all, of the original properties that can improve the new product's specifications.

Since 2002, Rubber Recovery, Inc. has been a recycler of ground tire material, which is utilized in many rubber products and processes. No other company in the world can boast the decades of experience, our employees have in the recycling field.

In molded goods crumb rubber acts as an air bleeding elastomeric filler to reduce reject parts, as well as reduce compound costs. As a Safety Surfacing base material, playground surfaces can acheive ASTM drop certification. In bound rubber goods, tire rubber is glued with urethane or other binders to acheive a strong, long lasting part. As an infill in synthetic turf, crumb rubber is a safe "shock absorbing" surface that helps reduce sports related injuries.

With over 20 years of experience, Rubber Recovery, Inc. is owned by the former GreenMan Technologies of CA, Inc. President and CEO, Robert Davis. With over 40 years of recycling experience, Ken Winters is Executive Vice President, and is the former EVP of Atlos Rubber Inc. a California tire rubber recycler for over 64 years.

With over 30 years of recycling experience, Enrique Urzua is Plant Manager. Theresa McGregor is Vice President of Operations, and Supervises Office Operations.
