We write to introduce LONGDEN STEEL, as a possible supplier of reinforcing steel to your construction projects. Our major customers are prominent construction companies in Zimbabwe like Forit Contracting, Costain, John Sisk, Zimplats of the Implats Platnum minning group, and Murray & Roberts. We also supply steel directly to house owners who may be constructing new buildings. We have cutting and bending machinery, which gives us an installed capacity of 500 tonnes reinforcement steel per month. Currently we are operating our plant at about 70% capacity. Our total workforce is 17 people of which 13 are in the skilled and graded worker category. He has previously worked for Hunyani, SMM Holdings and Art Corporation. Mr. Mandimikanon Executive Director Mr. Mandimika is a qualified Chartered Accountant and the Managing Director of Hunyani Flexible Products. Mr. J MarangwandaHe is the Managing Director of Longden Steel and a former Unilever Manager. Mr. F MhembweHe is the Executive Director in charge of New Business. Mr. Mhembwe has previously worked for Tabex Steel, MAC steel Zimbabwe and Steel Link. We have supplied reinforcing steel to major projects like Hwedza & Mtoko Composite Office Block, National Heroes Acre, Gwanda Magistrate and Technical College, Harare Institute of Technology, Harare polytechnic Library, Crowhill Boulevard, DDF Manyame, Ruzawi and Mupfure Bridge, British Embassy and Telone projects. We currently are now operating an office in Lusaka, Zambia and are now exporting an average of 200 tonnes to Zambia per annum.
