Once upon a time, a little seamstress tried to climb the beanstalk to top of the New York fashion world. When she was nearing the top, the big giant sent her tumbling back to home. The poor little seamstress was deported back to Australia, forced to let go of everything she had worked hard to obtain. Refusing to be knocked down, she drew an alliance with her brother, an established graphic artist. Together, they created My Little White Lie. My Little White Lie is a melbourne based fashion label inspired by the old flics and tunes of the 40s and 50s and old European styles. The collection offers figure hugging button up dresses, Lolita shorts, waisted skirts, mod shorts, singlets and shirts with quirky prints. It was birthed by brother and sister duo. One Graphic designer who wanted to channel his creativity into his own projects, and one seamstress who, after being deported from her dreams, set out to destroy the fashion industry with more guts and more determination.
