T. K. Group of Industries began its journey in 1972 in commodity trading. The
entrepreneurial spirit of the founders, helped the business grow and new ventures were launched in manufacturing and marketing of consumer and industrial products. Over the years the group has emerged as one of the leading industrial group in Bangladesh with core strengths in edible oils and fats and also having successfully diversified into other business categories i. e. ; Steel Galvanizing, Cold Rolling, Paper, Cement Bags, Particle Board, Finished Leather and Tea Plantations employing over 4500 people.

Capitalizing the gathering of such momentum, SEACOM for SHIPPING was born in mid-80s on the road to something special with a vision made of different culture altogether. Although, the modest inception of SEACOM began in the year 1972 with Trading, Real Estate and Manufacturing.
