The Amazon Oil Industry is located in the metropolitan area of Belem, the capital of the state of Para. Its location is ideal because it provides easy access to the Amazonian Tropical Rainforest and its rivers of the Amazon basin. It is also near to Marajo Island, which is the largest sea river archipelago in the world providing a wealthy diversity of oilseeds.

Recently we acquired the registered license of the Federal Ministry of Environment for accessing and sharing the benefits from the use of genetic resources and associated traditional knowledge (ABS).
