Microforum Ltd was established in 2001 by a group of Microforum senior executives. Shortly after its founding, Microforum experienced a tremendous growth due to its great success in developing and marketing local market products. Building on this momentum, Microforum launched the Microforum Project (Complete Automation Security Technology Systems) .
Microforum Ltd original mission was to distribute innovative alarm devices. Later, Microforum's engineers and Microforum's programmers teamed up to form a Research and Development unit, dedicated to the creation of innovative, affordable, and scalable video surveillance systems. The team's efforts lead to the creation of Sentinel, a revolutionary video surveillance system launched in March 2004.
Sentinel, the most professional item in Microforum's catalogue, allows the direct monitoring of any environment through a video acquisition card installed on a PC connected to the Internet or a mobile phone (GPRS / UMTS) .
Sentinel success lead, in September 2004, to the production of Multi-CAM Professional (wireless) and Webcam Diabolik, which addressed problems of private environment monitoring and security, in a practical, ingenious and user-friendly manner.
