Curtiembres Bufalo was founded on 1934 in the city of Barranquilla, capital city of the Atlantico region in Colombia (South America) . We are a pioneer in the tanning industry, has a production capacity of 65. 000 leather hides per month, that is approximately 2. 600. 000 square feet which are commercialized in the domestic and international markets in regions of Asia, Europe, North, Central and South America. We produce full grain and corrected grain finished leathers for the shoe, handbag and upholstery industry in a wide variety of markets. Aware of the importance to standarize quality processes and its relevance for being competitive on a global level, Curtiembres Bufalo S. A is currently certified in ISO 9001: 2000 version (BVQI) and BASC (World Basc Organization) .
