Peakward-Rainbow group was established in 1990 by Mr. Fazle Azim, Group Chairman who was an international banker for 19 years before starting his own business. From a humble start in 1990 in Hong kong, the company has today expanded it's operation many folds and achieved sales more than five million tons of various commodities. The group is engaged in international commodity trading. Peakward has excellent sourcing contacts with many more producers in the whole world region.
Peakward-Rainbow group is mainly dealing with bulk commodities such as Cement, Cement Clinker, Gypsum, Fly ash, Slag, Coal, Salt, Sugar, Rice, Wheat, Lentils, Chick peas, Yellow peas, pulses, beans and seeds, Newsprint paper, Fertilizer (TSP, MOP, DAP), Sulphur, Soda Ash, Chemicals, Steel Scrap, Paper pulp, Waste paper, HRC steel. Bitumen, Jute, PP woven bags, Machinery, etc.
Since inception the group has focused in cement/clinker as it's main business through over the years it also handled shipment of fertilizer, rock phosphate, chemicals, newsprint, hard coke, coal, etc. So far the group exported cement & clinker to Dubai, Ecuador, Egypt, Yemen, srilanka, Bangladesh and Vietnam. Peakward was the first company to sell indonesian cement to Egypt market(both baged and bulk cement). We supplied bulk cement to 4m floating terminal in Alexandria and heidelberger cement floating terminal in damietta, Egypt. Hc trading of heidelberger group has been a buyer of cement and clinker from peakward. In year 2000 we supplied 500,000 mts clinker to hc trading for their Bangladesh plant and in 1998 we supplied 35,000 mts bulk cement for their terminal in Egypt. Besides, in year 2005 we are supplying cement & clinker from China to Dubai by 60,000mt panamax vessel.
