During the early years of activity in the old works, Galperti produced agricultural implement and dropped forged parts for the railway infrastructure, with the advent of the chemical and petrochemical industries in the 1950's production diversifies with the introduction of forged flanges and the original products lines were abandoned.
The increase in production gave rise to a need for more space, and so to guarantee future development, Galperti transfereed the operation plant to Dervio, The increase in manufacturing capacity and the use of ever more sophisticated materials has required constant technological development and consequently there has been ongoing investment in the forging plants and machine shops. Production lines are constantly being updated and new technology being introduced. Today, Galperti has fully grown to become one of the leading supplier of piping materials to shipbuilding and repair industry as well as the Oil and Gas, Onshore and Offshore, Chemical and Petrochemicals, Power, Fertilizer, Pulp and Paper Industries, etc.
