In India for introducing a new Item or Product to any reputed Government, Semi-Government, Public or Private Company, one has to produce Authorisation Certificate from the particular Manufacturer. Without this Certificate no Inquiry / Tender is issued to the Manufacturer or their Sole Selling Agent in India. In certain cases even samples are to be provided for approval. The whole process may take 3 to 6 months depeniding on the Product and the Company. But after that there is scope of huge business throughout the year.
