Wellknown Group was formed in the year 1987 with the formation of Wellknown Textile Industries Ltd (WTIL). Wellknown Polyesters Ltd (WPL) was promoted by WTIL in the year 1996. Wellknown Synthetics Ltd (WSL) was incorporated in the year 1997 as a wholly owned subsidiary of WPL.

The Group has been growing at a rapid pace since its inception. The consolidated turnover was USD175 million in FY 09-10. The turnover is expected to cross USD330 million in FY 11-12.


We are among the Top 5 fully integrated manufacturers of PFY in India, and also one of the fastest growing in the industry. We offer the following products:-

We are the biggest manufacturer of ATY, and among the Top 3 manufacturers of FDY in India.

We have a modern manufacturing facility, with the latest Oerlikon Barmag technology for Continuous Polymerization CP, POY & FDY. We also operate a large number of modern Texturising and Twisting machines.

We market our products under the brand names WELLKNOWN and NEW WAYS.



PRODUCT RANGE


POY:
From 70 Denier to 800 Denier in a wide range of lustres - Semi Dull, Full Dull, Bright, Cationic (Bright/ Semi dull) and Dope-dyed yarns.


FDY:
From 30 Denier to 800 Denier in a wide range of lustres - Semi Dull, Full Dull, Bright, Cationic (Bright/ Semi dull) and Dope-dyed yarns. Yarns with special attributes like low boiling shrinkage. FDY for sizing.


DTY:
From 50 Denier to 600 Denier- in all types of lustres and numerous fancy yarns, including wide range of Dope-dyed yarns.


Air Textured Yarns (ATY):
From 80 Denier to 1200 Denier- in various lustres, fancy yarns and Dope-dyed yarns.




Manufacturing Facilities:

We have a modern manufacturing plant at Daman, on the West Coast of India between the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat. Our proximity to the domestic Polyester hubs in Gujarat, Silvassa and Maharashtra, as well as to the Nhava Sheva port, enables us to service our customers with the shortest possible lead time.
