L S Creative Unit is a village based cottage craft/skills enterprise that offers employment to local artists and artisans of the Thane district (MH) India, and opportunities to women and youth of the region to learn self-sustenance skills that creatively utilize their innate and acquired abilities to manufacture professionally made hand-crafted products.
The Unit started in 2008 with paper and card products like greeting cards, bags, folders and files etc. and paintings on paper, canvas and other material - Over the few years developed products from recycled wood and pure cotton cloth offering a wide range of utility products.
L S stands for "Learning Space" as a constructive enterprise seeking to educate rural-tribal youth and women with self-sustenance skills, to gather their energies and spirit to come together for constructive development of their communities.
