We use SDS2 for steel detailing. This helps us design framing connections such as simple shear, moment, and bracing connections resulting in more reliable detailing output. We can design connections both in ASD and LRFD design methods. This, in particular, saves your time which would have otherwise been spent in teaching detailers about design aspects of connection in the structure
