Britto exports is a family run partnership firm. Started in 1971 with just few people, now Britto Exports is the leading exporters of fresh and live seafoods from South India. Britto Exports have bagged two MPEDA awards from the Indian government for the second largest exporters in Live seafood and exports for cephalopads.
The firm is running with more than 500 people working round the clock, to give quality seafoods for our buyers throughout the world. Our factory is loacted in Tuticorin, Tamilnadu. India. Spread over 3 acreas of area our factory is build to have a production of more than 20 tonnes a day and our cold storage is of 500 ton capacity. Our firm not only has a good facility for frozen seafood, we also have one of the biggest facilty to export live lobsers. Our factory for live lobsters is located in Kanya kumari, a place where all the tri seas meet in India.
The firm has a very good position in fresh fish exports from South India. With over 7 million us $turnover in chilled fish we are the no. 1 fresh fish exporters from South of India. Our main products are grouper, yellow fin tuna, red snapper, red mullet, parrot fish, sea bass, pomfret, sword fish, tuna loins, seer fish, coral trout, toger grouper, napolean, tomato grouper, mahi mahi, barracuda, fish fillets, sand lobsters, rock lobsters, white shrimps, tiger shrimps, flower shrimps, head on scampi with claws, wether it may be fresh whol e round or fillets, loins or fish steaks, frozen rock lobsters or dried jelly fish we produce one of the finest products from our coast.
Britto Exports also has a newly build factory to produce the first of its kind in India, ready to eat seafoods. Couple of years ago we started this new state of the art tecnology to produce ready to eat fish curry, tuna fish in oil, fish in mayonise etc. . Now we are prodcing more than 13 procducts shipping to 4 different countries and also has a very strong domestic market for our procuts.
