L & T's indigeneuosly developed Surface Miners have revoltionized eco-friendly mining; free of drilling and blasting. The applications of blast free mining range from soft coal to hard limestone / sanstone minerals.

The selective mining edge provided by surface miners add to richer mineral content. These surface miners can be operated in other applications like-Salt, Gypsum, Bauxite etc.

We also design and manufacture Torpedo Ladle Cars (TLC) of different capacities used for transportation of molten metal in steel industry
