The century old Kalyani Group encompasses four tea estates spread over 3500 acres in the province of Assam and Dooars in India. Each of these estates have their own production facilities close to the plantation area and manufacture 4 million kilograms of tea annually. The group specializes in the production of Green and Black Tea and are one of the largest and premium producers of Green Tea in the country. Primarily, a health drink, the benefits of consuming Green Tea is unlimited. A sizeable portion of the company's Green tea is exported to Afghanistan, CIS, Germany, Morocco, Poland and the United States. The company also sells Green Tea in India in the retail market by the name of Green Dream.Recently the R&D team initiated the production of Ready to Drink tea, notably the concentrate for Bottled Ice Tea.
