Southall Sdn Bhd began operations in January 1997 as a distributor for Ericsson mobile phones and its related accessories.
Since its inception, the Company has grown from strength to strength and the support from the various dealers has been instrumental in the success of the Company.
The Company believes in constantly developing its dealer network by providing dealer product trainings as well as good after sales service to build confidence in Southall Sdn Bhd.
The Company also believes in growing an extensive network of quality dealers to a fairly sizeable number, to match the rapid growth in business.
In October 2000, Ericsson and Sony merged their mobile phone businesses into one unit and was re-branded as Sony Ericsson. Despite the challenges faced in distributing a new brand, Southall Sdn Bhd continued to work closely with the new team at Sony Ericsson to assist in expanding their business as well as creating the necessary brand awareness.In April 2003, Southall Sdn Bhd had been appointed by SIEMENS Malaysia as a distributor for their mobile phones. Thus, proving the confidence that the industry has in the Company.
Southall Sdn Bhd has also been appointed as the sole distributor for VK Mobile phones in July 2003 and subsequently for Innostream mobile phones in November 2003. The company strongly believes that the addition of more brands will be an added advantage to strengthen our position in the mobile industry by providing more choices for our retail channel.
With ten (10) years of experience in the mobile industry, the Company has positioned itself very closely with the various operators in Malaysia namely, Maxis, Celcom and DiGi. Thus,
building good business relationships with them.
With many programs and joint promotions being executed with the various operators in Malaysia, the Company is ready to take on greater challenges ahead to meet the objective of the Company as well as the principals.
