The idea for floating a tableware manufacturing company was given by mr. Rashid M. Yusuf as demand for melamine tableware is increasing in Pakistan as well as in other countries owing to the following reasons:
1) cheaper than ceramics and stainless steel.
2) available in a wide range of decorative designs and shapes. Rapid requirements of different needs of the consumers can be fulfilled with rapid changes in foils (prints) and moulds.
3) easy to handle.
The main items produced by tableware technology (pvt. ) limited, are dinner sets, miscellaneous tableware items such as trays, plates, bowls, and cups. Electrical accessories like switches, sockets, plugs, bathroom accessories, and buttons. A host of small items are also produced by the industry for specific clients on special order.
