We produce the persimmon wine for the first time in the world by using the persimmon (flat persimmon), a specialty of Cheongdo, Gyeongbuk Province.
It tastes far better than the wine made from the grapes, and it also has a lot of tannin because it is made from astringent persimmon though it is white wine, so you can also relish the flavor of red wine.
Its quality was also recognized as it was selected as dinner wine in 2005 Pusan APEC Summit, toast wine for the 17th presidential dinner in February 2008, and dinner wine in 2010 G20 finance ministers meeting.
It also acquired the INNO-BIZ certificate and ISO 22000 certificate.
For the aging, the most important procedure for wine, the wines are stored and aged by an environment-friendly method that uses the disused tunnel of Gyeongbu Line constructed in 1904.
