Perhaps for most people, a chair is just a chair but a kind of ordinary furniture couldn't be simpler. But for us as a chair maker for over three decades, not so long ago, we saw my aging mother endure the pain of degenerative lumbar, how we always hope to do our belt to improve it all! At that time, we contacted with the physiatrist very often, so we realize the importance of the correct posture against spinal care. That came to our mind and aroused the idea to create the twin back cushion with the concept of spinal care.
Why should the back blades need separating? The answer is to allow the spine from stress. The blade shapes are preciously designed to fit body curves, plus the height adjustable function, so it can adapt to any body type, prop up on the lumbar properly, and correct sitting posture.
However, it's still not adequate to just have the separate twin backs. Why? As the twin back support has to protect the waists even while the body moves apparently, a fixed back support can do nothing with it. Particularly for the elderly and sitting for a long time, leaning is not only for relaxation but better working as a back cushion allowing body stretch or swing to reduce the back pain predisposition.
