Our Company uses fusion glass melting technique. First step in this method is flat glass tablets are catered in various thicknesses. Than cutting process is applied depending upon products' pattern and their molds. In cutting area, tablet glasses are cut by hand, on the other hand cutting of patterns are made by using Waterjet CNC machines.
Waterjet machine is able to cut any type of two dimensional materials by applying same principles as traditional CNC machines. Usage of water during cutting procedure provides high precision and makes visible all details on products. Cutting procedure takes place after designing patterns in computer environment. Afterwards, metarials are transferred to production area to apply fusion glass melting.
After required dying stage is completed on gathered patterns and molds, molds are placed into fusion ovens, and ovens are prepared for heat treatment. All of the works done in production medium are hand made. Furthermore, all dying steps hold in between two glasses. After heat treatment at 800 degree, fusion glass ovens starts cooling itself, which makes glass stronger compared to traditional glass. the reason for that is tension being released during cooling stage.
Drop labeling technique is applied so that desired pictures are pressed into labels. Then, plastic drop is poured onto it. As a result picture is placed between drop and label. After fusion glass manufacturing carried out, drop labels are pasted onto products. By this technique, any type of pattern, figure or logo might be casted on fusion glass.
All kinds of edge process are applied on flat glasses and mirrors by grinding, faconne rodage, and Bizote machines. Spin-off products of fusion glass are prepared on these machines then, items become ready for shipment after completing necessary assembly procedure.
Zumrut Art of Glass has been advancing itself in the area of technology and manufacturing. In 2008, It became totally integrated plant by adding grinding, faconne rodage, and Bizote machines to use edge processing to is production circuit. Currently, Demand production is fulfilled by full time manufacturing method which includes decoration items, souvenir, construction, hotel equipments and promotion sectors. Based on this system, it is possible to produce demanded item independent from product type and product size. Thus, much more faster service is provided.
