Kato global services, llc. Was originally established in 1985 as kato consulting, llc. A one person operation for part time outsourcing and consulting services. Over the past 20 + years kato consulting grew from one to many like minded people with strategic partnerships in Taipei Taiwan, hong kong, Shanghai, and Qingdao, china. As the company grew it evolved into a partnership with an office based out of cicero, indiana and a satellite sales operation in Chicago, illinois.
As kato consulting, llc. Was growing the company structure as well as the services offered partners were added to the company in 2000. With new partners in the company the name changed from kato consulting, llc. To kato global services, llc. (kgs) to fully encompass the range of services added.
KGS today offers supply chain management, manufacturing management, sourcing, and engineering support both domestic and overseas. Having relationships with hundreds of suppliers there isn't a project to big or a problem to small that kgs hasn't overcome in the past.
The future is where KGS's focus is now looking at other countries outside of china such as Thailand, Vietnam, India, and other southeast Asia countries for low cost suppliers with high quality standards. To ensure that the services and the quality products that kgs helps to source / manufacture is always on the forefront of the world economy.
