Acquiring knowledge is one of the most exciting things in life. All children are born knowing this, and will continue to know this until someone convince them that learning is hard work, and unpleasent. Some children are never convinced that learning is hard work, or unpleasent, and go through life knowing that learning is exciting, and the only game worth participating in. We have a name for such people. We call them GENIUSES.
MUSIC IS AN ESSENTIAL TOOL FOR WHOLE BRAIN LEARNING, multiple intelligence approach to learning, and teaching. While listening to a song, the left brain( the academics side of the brain, language, logics, mathematics ) processes the lyrics, while the right brain( the creative side of the brain, rhythm, rhyme, pictures, emotions ) processes the music. The WHOLE BRAIN is involved. Science says that, from a neurological perspective musical/rhythmic intelligence is the first of the multiple intelligence's to develop in the womb.
