Originally founded in 1992, Portix Group Ltd trading in the UK as Portable Add-ons is the leading distributor of mobile computing solutions to the UK reseller community.
The company was established to meet the increasing demand for high quality devices & peripheral products in the mobile computing sector.
In August 2004 the company became part of the Mobile & Wireless Group ( ) which is the 10th fastest growing private company in the UK (Source-Sunday Times Fast Track 100, 2004) , which has provided significant resources to enable further expansion and structured growth. As a result, in 2005 we launched our operations in the USA under the name Portix USA Inc, with its own local sales and warehousing facility based in Illinois to serve the USA reseller community.
The company has a comprehensive mobile computing product strategy, embracing all mobile computing environments. These include innovative and award winning PDA devices & accessories together with a comprehensive notebook computing portfolio.
