Ltd., founded in 1951, is a manufacturer and supplier of standardized herbal extracts and phytochemicals used for nutritional, pharmaceutical, cosmeceuticals and food products, which are genuine, effective, safe and consistent. Natural Remedies has brought to market more than 50 standardized botanical extracts and privately funded several clinical studies in conjunction with prestigious institutions in support of branded products. The key to Natural Remedies success is its research, covering: the screening of medicinal plants for their pharmacological benefits; the identification of new active principles; and the development of extraction and purification systems at the cutting-edge of industrial application. Its present operations have grown to employ 500 people working in manufacturing, R&D and distribution facilities. Additionally to ensure sustainable supplies on its key products, medicinal plants cultivation efforts has been successfully undertaken by the organization. All our products are certified Kosher. The production facilities are GMP, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 22000:2005 certified. Every batch of standardized herbal extracts is tested for pesticide, heavy metal, aflatoxin and microbial residues to ensure conformance to international specifications. The research team has secured 8 patents and has over 100 publications in national and international peer reviewed journals. Natural Remedies has contributed several analytical monographs on Indian Medicinal plants to the Indian Pharmacopoeia, Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia of India and the United States Pharmacopoeia. Natural Remedies has standardized over 80 different in vitro bio-assays which are rapid, reproducible, economical and require milligram quantities of sample for evaluation. These assays are useful in bio-prospecting, bio-activity guided fractionation, biological standardization and bio-assay directed process optimization. Many of these assays are based on latest drug discovery technologies. Natural Remedies has isolated, purified and characterized more than 150 phytocompounds from different medicinal plants till date for use as reference substances in chromatography.
